1 – Sign up for Google places & Google maps

This is the first thing you should do. You need to follow the Google instructions. Once you sign up then it signs you up for both. There is no need to sign up for two accounts or enter the same information twice. You should look for the Google places or Google locations sign up points. Once the data is added into this then you appear on Google maps automatically.

2 – Put your full address on at least two pages

This is not going to break any duplication rules unless you put it on more than two pages. Have your address within your Meta tags too, and use location based keywords within the page elements that hold your address. For example, a picture of your town with a Meta keyword and alt text on the image which says the name of the town is a good idea. This is also handy for if people type in your address into Google to try and find you.
